The Sweet Biscuit Inn is a comfortable six bedroom Bed and Breakfast Inn with a Carriage House located in Asheville, North Carolina's quiet wooded neighborhood of Kenilworth. Centrally located, this magnificent 1915 Colonial Revival home offers lodging with urban sophistication and a flair for comfort and friendliness.

Our B&B lodging is only 1 1/2 miles south of downtown Asheville's shops, galleries, restaurants and cafes, and only a 1/2 mile north of the Biltmore Estate entrance. The Sweet Biscuit Inn is convenient to all of Asheville's attractions. Whether you are visiting Asheville for the diverse cultural charm, the opulence of the Biltmore Estate, or the spectacular Blue Ridge mountains of Western North Carolina, your visit with us will make you smile. 

The lodging at Sweet Biscuit Inn features 11 foot ceilings, tiger oak wood floors, a dramatic formal staircase, and a relaxing front porch, ideal for watching the neighborhood walk by.

Each guest room at the Sweet Biscuit Inn features a queen bed, a private full bath with antique tubs or showers and pedestal sinks, cable television, air conditioning and wireless Internet access. A clever combination of antiques and family heirlooms were selected to give each room warmth and a familiar appeal. All of our rooms are full of southern charm and simplicity, offering comfort and shelter for your rest.

Mornings at the Sweet Biscuit Inn nourish the soul as breakfast aromas fill the air...hot coffee, homemade biscuits, muffins, scones, sweet cinnamon rolls, country bacon, sausages and egg specialties. These are but a few of the items served. Guests gather in the warmth of the dining room, where a crackling fire takes off any morning chills. Colorful mismatched Fiestaware dishes set the table. An eclectic mix of candlesticks cast a warm glow, starting your day on a cheerful note.

The grounds of Sweet Biscuit Inn include many shade gardens, a large brick patio, multiple beds of annual and perennial gardens, as well as an imaginative playground.

The owners, Angela and Robert Maddix have two children, Niko (18) and Olivia (13). Our Bed and Breakfast welcomes your children too. Their presence adds humor and vitality to our casually unpretentious and most delightful B&B. The newest member of their family is Otto, a ChowPooPei, or mutt mix. He is a fluffy white dog with a cautious demeanor.
